HISTORY: Genevieve's father was a diplomat, occasionally going abroad for work. Her mother was a homemaker, she loved taking care of her two young daughters and their home. They had been a happy couple when Genevieve was young, but as the years past and her father was sent abroad more often and for longer periods their occasional meaningless fights got worse. Finally when Genevieve was 13 and her sister, Colette, was 9 their was posted to a foreign embassy. When her mother refused to leave France her parents separated and some months later her father left the country to work at one of Frances foreign embassies, she hasn't seen him since. Her mother, not wanting her housewife lifestyle to change, quickly found a man of means and promptly moved herself and her daughters in with him. Unfortunately her mothers new boyfriend, who would be come her step-father in 10 short months, was a little too interested in Genevieve's younger sister Colette. It wasn't long before Genevieve learned of the abuse. Their mother was no help, She was so intent on keeping her life and bank balance exactly as they were to even entertain the idea that something could be wrong with her new husband and the few times Genevieve tried to get the police involved her new step-father hushed it up. The abuse stopped when Colette was 14, but it didn't end because their step-father lost interest or because of anything Genevieve did. It stopped because Colette killed herself. It's something Genevieve will never forget and never stop blaming herself for, she blames her step-father for causing it and her mother for not getting Colette away from him when she could have, but she blames herself for not being able to do more, for not killing the bastard or scaring him away, for not being strong enough to protect her little sister like she should have. Genevieve was 18 when Colette died, she left home the day after the funeral, she left the country a few months later hopping from place to place in Europe until coming to America 3 years ago and arriving in Raven Black last month.

Now Genevieve works in a seedy bar, she doesn't exactly like the work, but shes good at it and she has to pay the bills some how. It also helps that if your hot and apply wearing a short skirt and low cut top they usually don't ask many questions about citizenship or work visa's. Which is helpful when your in the country illegally.
