Una the Divine was very skilled in many areas of witchcraft, having dedicated her entire life to the practice. She foretold the birth of her only child, at the young age of seventeen, and her own death at thirty-three, a year before her son was to turn seventeen himself. The nature of her death is shrouded in obscurity as she went missing on Halloween night in 2013 and her body was found a week later laying in her bed. There was no sign of forced entry, nor were there any footsteps or additional fingerprints found that suggested she was moved. The coroner reported that she lost her sight some time before she died.

Rancor remembers her as one of the most powerful women he had ever known, which is why her death shook him. One of her specialties was protection magic as she armed their little home on the outskirts of Ravenblack City in wards, sigils, and spells. However, she also had a very strong connection with the unseen forces and he suspects one of those forces was responsible for her death. She taught him everything he knows and left behind much for him to learn, but not without warning. Even in death, she wishes not for him to meet the same grim fate she did.

Rancor's father is unknown.

It's a little tea shop below the apartment located on the outskirts of the city nearest the forest. It sells a collection of handmade teas, herbs, and mild potions. Teas are packaged in little cardboard boxes and patrons can also get fresh brews in the shop while sitting on padded wooden chairs and couches at little tables. The walls are lined with books, charms, herbs, and teas. If one were to inquire about spells and curses, Rancor might oblige at a price.
