17:00 hours. The sun hasn’t set over the Temple of Blood. But the very Earth breathes with the anticipation of something coming. Something big.
A battle.
A great big, gory battle.
It’s a Paladin group! They’re here to lay siege and lay waste to supernatural scum! And they’re going to start with the Temple of Blood. They’ve been casing the joint for ages, now. They see it’s a small group. They know they outnumber these vampires! They’ve got this, lads! Fire and brimstone! You can’t stop these motherfuckers!
This is where you come in, O Dear Writer.
Perhaps your character has innocently visited the Temple of Blood this evening. You know, cause they’ve heard about that new weird cult and wanna see what’s up. Perhaps they’ve been caught in the crossfire—some wrong place, wrong time shit. Perhaps your characters are in the Seventh Rank, and they’re defending the keep!
But maybe your character is a Paladin. Or maybe a vampire who hates the Seventh Rank so much they’d work with a Paladin to bring them down! Or maybe your character is just passing by, is bored, and wants to kill a bunch of Paladins for some sweet, sweet loot. Totally respectable chaotic neutral stuff.
