THE TEMPLE OF BLOOD

Separated by a crimson granite prism, two large stone towers rise from the earth toward the blackened heavens. From a distance, the temple's outer walls seem to emanate a deep sanguine hue that cloaks its immediate surroundings. At the entrance to the narthex, two gold cherubs face each other, their wings forming an overhang to the temple's porch. A dark figure stands still beneath their outstretched wings, warding away the merely curious and faint of heart. Above him, etched in the granite is elaborate ancient writing, decipherable only by members of the brood. It reads: "Membership is obtained through the baptism of blood."
Gifted to Liander by Blutengel prior to his burial, Liander now claims this hallowed space as his own. Ravenblack denied passing of the deed at Blutengel's request, but that doesn't stop him. There is something about the space -
your blood is not an aspect of power - that calls to the man. A constant, ironic reminder. The building is no longer used for worship -
except those nights when it stands vacant except for Nyatta's grave - but for business; the monitoring of employees and their movements, of interactions in the city (cameras fucking everywhere), and as an armory of sorts, ever vigilant against the threat of humanity and a broken Masquerade.
THE THIEF OF HEARTS

In years past, this bar was the primary drinking establishment of the human criminal underbelly. The disappearance of Hunter Thomas and, some time later, the first death of Liander del Vecchio both served as catalysts for a new style of management to sweep not just this bar, but the surrounding area. No longer favoring the dim lights, dark corners, and the old school noir aesthetic of the vampires, the bar is now a beacon of human (particularly Millenial) modernism. Fluorescent lights greet shining mahogany countertops (with obligatory charging ports for smartphones) and the corporate image of a raven perched upon a restyled Jack of Hearts playing card is emblazoned in neon above the door.
EL PARADISO TRAILER PARK

El Paradiso has an on-site laundromat. There are public restrooms and a (troublesome) soda machine inside.
There's a girl named Birdy Jean who has a laundry hustle and will wash and fold your laundry for you for a small fee (but who will probably also steal clothing items and tell you she doesn't know where they went, even going so far as to deny she's cut the legs off your overalls and is wearing them around the park).
The entryway sign has vintage lettering that doesn't fully glow anymore. In an ironic twist of fate, the sign reads 'El Pard__o' at night. Tt's rusted, faded, powder pink, cream, burgundy, and mint green. There are a flock of garden flamingos (a few without heads) on the sign. Somebody's put Santa hats on them. Happy holidays.
Acquired years ago with a cash offer, Liander's name is nowhere to be found on this lot. To date, he has also never been seen within the trailer park. This location is a last resort safehouse if he should ever need to drop off the grid.
The outside is deceptively decrepit, with a broken step leading up to the porch, an overgrown lawn, and faded, broken shutters.
The interior is a different story altogether, offering all the modern amenities one may want within. Despite its ramshackle appearance, the mobile home has been sealed with bulletproof glass and a steel lining, offering a modicum of protection should it come to that. Those who pass by it may glimpse an elderly, dark-skinned man sitting on the porch drinking from a chipped coffee mug.
THE APARTMENT
Nestled in the city's center; Liander has always preferred the thrum of life around him. Crowds have a calming effect on him, so long as he is not the center of attention within them. Due to the recent battle at the Temple of Blood and ongoing construction there, as well as his removal from the D'dary Manor, he has resorted to renting this small, humble space.
Residing on the third floor of a complex, it is a four-room apartment. The entrance immediately opens up to a dining room/kitchen area, which connects to a small living room with a fold-out couch and recliner. A short hallway leads to two closed doors behind that. Initially intended to be a two-bedroom apartment, Liander has converted one of the rooms into a modest office from which to conduct his business.
