Agreed. 100% great writing showing amazing emotion for a character that touched most of the city in some way.

gah I always wish I could make words like Kris.
One day, it'll get lighter. That's what they all say. One day, you'll forget the weight of those you left behind. One day, it won't make you ache or sting tears into your eyes. One day, the boulder will crest the mountain, and all of this pointless toil will be over. One day, you'll be able to place all of those stones down, one by one, to lay them to rest in the Earth from whence they came.
