I really enjoy reading these. As someone who has a few characters with this exact same mindset, it's refreshing to see put down so gracefully. You can feel the struggle of a warrior mind during peace time.

The imagery, the tension. I enjoyed how easy this was to read, too.
I enjoy this one for the perspective and their unique take on their duties and who they are, while also glimpsing the bigger picture around them.
