An educated mind is a freed mind. The Seventh Rank is committed to the enlightening freedom of all our kind, not just those in our ranks. Casting off the shackles of ignorance frees not just the individual, but allows our society to grow and move forward together. We are a dying breed, vampires - and so we must train and expect better of this generation so that they might breed a new one. We offer to all our kind, free of charge or expectation, a veritable arsenal of information provided in the form of lectures. With this time and education, it is our hope to see more proficient and efficient vampires in our streets, using their knowledge for the betterment of us all.
Beginning this Saturday, April 25, at 14:00 EST, we will have biweekly classes open to the public in the Temple of Blood. These classes will last approximately one to two hours. Any vampire of any knowledge level or political affiliation (or lack thereof) is welcome and free to attend; we ask nothing of you in return. Subjects of discussion shall mostly cover city basics, including but not limited to: powers and questing, routing, shops and weapons, basic war tactics, and city history. After practical lessons, there will be discussions on the different and at times opposing theories and philosophies in the city. You will not have to join the practical class to join this discussion, and vice versa.
These classes will occur every other Saturday. The first subject of discussion this weekend shall be powers. A schedule and roster is currently being drafted, which shall be posted immediately upon completion to inform the public of which topics will be covered on which dates.
We are also, of course, always looking for more instructors. One does not need to be aligned with us to use our space to educate others. Should you wish to make yourself available as an instructor or to teach a particular lesson, reach out to either myself or Magwayen. We will conduct a brief interview with you to make sure you know what you are talking about and work with you on a date to appear.
