Who:
Everyone! This event is open to the public, as will be any events that I host.

What:
A Masquerade Ball. How many events do we have in a year where we're expected to dress all fancy? Seriously, someone answer that, because I don't actually know the answer. I just like having a reason to dress up.

When:
Friday, December 21st @ 9p to 1a

Where:
The all-new Cabal of Fuckery

There will be a vote to decide two Sovereigns of the Masquerade.
The two lucky individuals with the most votes will receive 10,000 coins each and a nifty crown to take home!

Games, music, drinks, food, dancing, fancy clothes... That sounds like a good time to me!

This is a true masquerade. Identities will be hidden. Upon arrival at the Cabal, you'll be asked to state your name ((IGN)) then the nickname you're going to use during the Solstice. This is to prevent biased voting for Sovereigns. Only Smerberous, Malkavian, Alpha Dragon, and Xedanis will be aware of who is whom for security purposes.

Winter Solstice Itinerary

9:00pm: Party starts, ayyyy~
* Those who arrive between 9pm and 10pm will be automatically entered to win the title of Sovereign of the Masquerade. Best be on time if you wish to have a shot at the title.

10:00pm: Games and voting starts.
* Each person is allowed to vote for two people, and the two with the most votes at the end of the night will each receive a crown and 10,000 coin.

12:15am: Voting ends.

12:20am: Sovereigns Crowned
* Games will be paused, then Malkavian and I are going take main stage and each of us is going to announce a Sovereign, then gift the crowns to the winners. The Sovereigns can speak to me privately on collecting their winnings.

12:30am: PARTY ON MY WAYWARD SONNNN~
* Let the Masquerade shenanigans resume!

1:00am: It's closin' time~
* I'm going to start a movie to wind the night down if anyone would like to join me in the Cinema. At this point, Event Patrons will be 'upgraded' to Patron status and receive access to the main hall of the venue, as well as its amenities.

I'd like to give thanks to...

Malkavian, Alpha Dragon, and Amora - Holding down the fort while I was unavailable early in the event.

Malkavian - Helping me reach individuals that I probably wouldn't have been able to on my own!

Alpha Dragon - Creating the voting ballots for the Sovereigns, maintaining and updating them as needed, and reminding people to vote.

Amora and Alpha Dragon - DJing until Xedanis could arrive.

Xedanis - DJing and being awesome in general.

Batrisha - Heading the games as our Game Master!

Jackal - For planting the seed of a Winter Solstice Masquerade into my head more than a year ago.

I'd also like to thank the 16 individuals who cast their votes for Sovereign in a timely fashion, as well as everyone that participated in the shenanigans of trying to guess who was whom during the event!

There have been a few suggestions for next year's Solstice that I have taken note of and will be speaking with the individuals privately on their take and how they feel their suggestions should be executed. You will be hearing from me soon.
