Sir Ducksalot is a Gentlebird of Refined taste and elegance. Born in England in a small farmhouse in the east of Yorkshire, his appetite for the fruits of wisdom drove him to make many important discoveries during his educational years and resulting in his much esteemed doctorate in Avian Literature and following book "What are Birds." brought about a new era of discovery of the aviary varieties.
He has long kept his connections to the royal family despite his lowly birth, he has always been considered family, and thus was knighted shortly after World war 2 when he received the Victorian Cross for his heroics in the skies over Britain.

What a quack. He's gotta wet his beak in a bit of lower level politics before running to be a fully fledged Mayor. Not to ruffle any feathers or anything, but before we all flock to the polling stations to vote for this seducktive candidate, I implore the members of this city to consider potential fowl play in this nomination, or you may find yourselves waddling home in shame.
