Due to an influx of spam account registration (not that they can do anything), new registrants will have to verify their email address prior to obtaining access to the forum. We usually are able to sort accounts within 24 hours or less. As always, if you want an account sorted ASAP, contact an admin directly. If you want accounts batch added, we can do that via the ACP to save you a headache.
Old Ab (v. 2.0) has been adjusted so that guests and newly registered users can view its contents as a historical archive of the period between August 6th 2016 and September 22nd 2018. At this point everything should be read only as we've removed usergroups able to post.

A few hours ago, Ab’s server had some downtime. While it was down, attempting to access the site on a computer cause the index.php page to download. If you (or someone you know) experience this error in the future, please clear your cache and it should sort itself.

Just a friendly reminder for y'all to read the rules in regard to banner sizing. Please do not exceed those guidelines.
2. Banners/Avatars
For signatures, banners should not exceed 550 x 200 px (width x height), and avatars should not exceed 120 x 200 px. At the moment, we do not have filesize restrictions in place, however we do request that users keep gif banners to a reasonable size and avoid anything that is overly blinking/flashing/etc; this rule is subject to change as needed.
Please don't mind the spambots. There's been a recent influx, but we have devised a way to deal with them that ensures they don't disrupt anything. And just in case there's some random new player sign ups mixed in, we have a way to deal with that, too. 
New user group: Dead & Buried. On grid characters listed as D&B will be sorted into this category. Admittedly this is very much a crossing countermeasure, as those who are dead and six feet deep would find it difficult to get a wifi signal, let alone use a phone, let alone keep that device charged. Accounts sorted into this category will only have access to a select few forums; OOC, information, rules, and the 'Roleplay' section of the forum for long form writing are all open to you. Social, News, Events and a few others are, however, restricted.
