Re: The Bias Problem

Well said, and something that needed saying.

We can all burn each other to our hearts content, twist knives into backs and spit venom... but remember that turning the whole city to ash in the process solves nothing. Burning all bridges simply makes traveling more difficult.

Holy shit, the gorgeous stuffs.

I'd like to say the second is my favorite, just based on the wonderful contrast alone, but there's something about the first that just draws my eye. Maybe the name placement or just general smoothness to it?

Either way, these are great.

Re: The Gallery - Banner Showcase

I really dig this set, and the gritty look to it. I don't know your character, but I enjoy this aesthetic. Hey, thanks a lot. :D As a character, Chris isn't exactly gritty, but the banner just kinda came together around that idea so I went with it. Pretty simple ideas, simple fonts, that just...

I was looking at that part of the signature, and thought it'd make a great compliment. I love it, it has an almost 3D look.
Thanks a lot. ^^
I think I'll go with it. Looks really nice in use.

Re: The Gallery - Banner Showcase

The work is well done, I love the aesthetic. For sets, personally, I like the flow of pieces that compliment, or even tell a story more than repetition of face. If that makes sense? It does! This is the other idea I was messing around with. Much more of a continuation (sort've) from the banner itse...

Re: The Gallery - Banner Showcase

Some damn wonderful work in here, y'all. #mindblown

Retooled an old banner with some new words. Not 100% on the avatar yet, so might change it up. Might be too much... Chrisface. Thoughts?

Re: Taking Criticism in Stride

A wonderful perspective to take on such a thing. There will always be those that disagree; always be those there to cast scorn. But the value of controlling the reaction, breaking down the criticism - whether or not the message is always in a pleasant wrapper - and learning from it? That is priceles...

Re: Dedications

Have you stopped to consider that the comment up there may not have been a personal attack or snipe, and may have been a compliment? Granted, I can see where it can be taken both ways. Still. My point being, if you spend time posting things just to assume everyone will attack you, does it not defeat...

Re: Conflict Coverage: Damacus VS The Void

I'll agree with many others here that this is a decent article and I'm glad to see it reported. If you'll allow me a bit of criticism: Though presented well, I feel it could have been a bit more condensed to focus more on information at hand, rather than effectively burying it with unnecessary fille...
