ABILITIES

Extrasensory Perception: The power to possess a sixth sense; to acquire information by
means independent of any of their known senses or previous experience. This applies to any and all kinds of
information, knowledge, wisdom, experience, etc. Information can be either personal (memories, thoughts, etc.)
or impersonal (academic knowledge, data, etc.). This ability can be used passively or actively.

Technokinesis: The power to manipulate technology, such as devices connected to wireless
technologies (phones, laptops, security systems and cameras, etc.) This ability can be used passively or actively.

Omnilingual: Myk is able to decipher, understand, and speak all languages within moments of
hearing them for the first time.

Razor Claws: The keratinous structure that makes up their nails has hardened to the strength
of steel and the sharpness of a scalpel. The claws do not extend/retract like Wolverine’s claws, they are
permanent extensions of the fingernails unless physically removed. Myk likes to paint his claws so that
they look like acrylic extensions.

CURSES

Temporal Disruption: For whatever reason, Myk’s grasp on the physical plain has fallen out
of sync, which means that he may occasionally "flicker" in and out of reality, or may outright disappear for an
extended period of time, only to appear at a later time exactly where he left off.

Sensory Overload: Because of his enhanced vampiric senses and emotions, he cannot cope
with too many noises, smells, colours, or too much information at once. When Myk becomes overwhelmed by these
things, he experiences extreme anxiety, rage, or his mind simply switches off all emotion. Myk can often go prone
during these episodes, becoming as lifeless and vulnerable as a mannequin.

Inheritance of Madness: This curse represents a number of severe mental illnesses.
However, the difference with this curse is that it can be passed on by bloodline inheritance. Myk was officially
diagnosed as schizophrenic, but it’s unclear how many other conditions or curses he truly suffers from.

Dissociative Identity Disorder: Myk’s psyche has split to create alters, although he isn’t
aware of this fact and assumes that lost chunks of time are perfectly normal.

Haunted: Myk is haunted by the ghosts of dead humans as well as many other
supernatural creatures, who appear almost constantly, or speak as voices in his head. It becomes
impossible to discern the difference between his mental illnesses and his supernatural afflictions.

Intense Medium: Myk’s incredible psychic-like abilities leaves him vulnerable to
supernatural forces. He is frequently bombarded with outcries of the dead. He also confuses the
spirits with flesh and blood people quite often.

Suicidal Ideation: The thought process or ruminations about the possibility of
completing suicide, and as a result, the engagement of reckless behaviours and actions. There is a
compulsive element to this way of thinking, although it is often passive in Myk’s considerations.

Weakness to Toxins: Toxins affect him in the same way they affect humans.
Whereas most Vampires will resist poisons fairly easily, and drugs will wear off 20 times faster, Myk
does not have these resistances. All toxins, including gas, drugs, poisons, and even diseases have a
serious effect on him, and can make you ill for days. Myk’s proficiency with his abilities and powers
are heavily affected while under the influence.)

debilitation. His poor physicality is overcome by his agility and intelligence, ensuring he avoids
the kind of conflict that could severely and easily incapacitate him.)

RELATIONSHIPS

Claude Lambert: The Diablerist, the Husband, the Scholar, Felix culpa.
Myk and Claude's partnership is a mutual affair, a marriage of convenience.
While the two have much in common and much more to benefit from the
other, their relationship is not strictly business. Affection, of a kind, exists
somewhere between the shrieks and bloodshed.

Rutherford: The Wraith, known only as Rutherford, has been a constant
albeit elusive companion since 2014. Rutherford doesn't speak much, and is
only helpful or critical. While he enjoys his own privacy, he takes no issue
with invading the personal space of others.

Antoinette: Female, Silver Spotted Tabby Norwegian Forest Cat.
She is the one that makes the trouble.

victim of Myk's rage and curse. Myk sired the young man
once he realised what he had done in a fit of envy.

EARLY HISTORY

Myk Garloh - otherwise known simply as Myk on the city streets -
was sired on May 17th 2011 by Temperance Avila and made
part of the Worthington Bloodline.

Born into the night with incredible psionic powers, he quickly
adopted the abilities to read minds and understand the obscure
tethering of energy signals. However, with great power comes a
massive headache, and the effect on his already fractured
psyche creates considerable burdens on him, those around him,
and those he chooses to care for.​

Myk is friendly to both supernaturals and mortals alike. He makes
friends easily, but stubbornly keeps them at a distance. However,
there have been times where his stubbornness has been matched
and the white-haired Vampire has found himself at the seat of that
one legendary debate: what happens when an unstoppable force
meets an immovable object?

Myk was born on September 18th 1988 to Doctor Frederic Benoit
Garloh and his wife Giada (Fontana) Garloh. Being half British, a
quarter French, and a quarter Italian made for a chaotic childhood.
They never settled in one place for too long. An uprooted family life
bares fruit nevertheless. The Garloh family travelled the length and
breadth of Europe, enabling their bright, studious son the opportunity
to absorb the culture and nuances of each strange, exotic land. He
was taught his parents' native tongues from the moment he could
babble. He was enrolled at academies as soon as they could accept
him. There was an expectation to be perfect from birth: intelligent,
knowledgeable, wise, cultured, empathetic, and mature.

The best-laid plans of mice and men do often go awry.

His capricious mind is stunted by illness. He began to acknowledge
things that just can't be there. Myk was diagnosed with schizophrenia
at the tender age of 12. The pills were the best solution alongside
clinical therapy. It was supposed to make it better. To him, at least, the
cure was worse than the affliction. The older he got, the more demanding
his parents became, and the less compliant he was. By the time he was 16,
the family settled in London. The hope was that Myk's condition would improve
if his surroundings were stable. Several incidents of missing people were
reported in the district of Soho over the following years. Relations between
Myk and his parents deteriorated to the point of coldness. Doctor Garloh
resorted to treating his son as an unruly patient while his Chief Crown
Prosecutor of a mother did her best to keep him out of prison.

It all became too much to handle after his suicide attempt. ​

With advice from friends of the family, it was agreed that Myk be committed to
the Algonquin Psychiatric Asylum. On his first night living with his aunt, he
ventured into the neighbouring city of Harper Rock, he met with a Vampire and
the rest, as they say, is likely historically inaccurate and better left to assumption...
