  DESCRIPTION: Modern humans are the only existing members of Hominina clade, a branch of the taxonomical tribe Hominini belonging to the family of great apes. The spread of humans and their increasing population has had a profound impact on large areas of the environment and millions of native species on the world. Many, in fact, consider the human race to be much like a virus or an infestation upon the planet. Despite, the evolutionary success of this species can be blamed on their particularly well-developed brain, specifically in areas that enable high levels of abstract reasoning, language, problem solving, sociality, and culture. Humans are particularly social creatures, who tend to, like dolphins, take time out of their survival for leisure activities such as art, music, rituals, cook-outs, or watching the sky.
  
  APPEARANCE: Humans stand erect on two long legs, with two feet. They have a short torso which ends in a pair of shoulders which stick out and form their arms. Atop the torso, humans have a neck, and an oval-shaped head. Their only fur gathers on their head and around their genitals, where the rest of their bodies is covered in a thin coat of hairs. These hairs do little for warmth. Like other apes, humans lack an external tail. They do, however, have opposable thumbs, and are sexually dimorphic.
  
  DIET: Designed to be omnivores, humans are capable of consuming a wide variety of plant and animal material. However, diets vary from human to human, from region to region, and thus, dietary restrictions may be prominent in regions of habitat where there are many who do not partake in the eating of meat at all, whether it be from land or sea.
