Brienne is quiet unless directly engaged. She is a nervous little thing, due to Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Bipolar.
She is cheerful and polite enough, but would largely rather be reading rather than talking.
It is up for debate whether she is just shy or is high-functioning autistic.
She avoids cursing at nearly all costs and can be very sweet and affectionate with this who make it past her shields.

Social:

Brienne is an oddball in her communities. She is a rare only child between her parents. (Her mother was human, so lacked squirrel Shifter hyper-fecundity. Twins and triplets are practically routine for squirrel Shifter women.)

Because of this, Brienne grew up isolated, given the way her military mother was constantly transferring from base to base. Her father was around, but out of the picture due to being Stateside.
