I was so hoping you would post this piece and I'm thrilled that you did. honestly it's part of the reason why I still have gas in the tank to write, it's that inspiring. the way you bring characters to life in your prose is aspirational, and I know I gushed about it in private but it cannot be overstated. I thoroughly enjoyed it as I've enjoyed all of the pieces submitted and I really appreciate you shouting them out beyond just the framing of the competition because we've had some damn good writing coming out of it :3

Agreed. I hadn't seen the post before, so now I am going through all the thread in order. It is intense, and Oberon's feelings and thoughts are beautifully conveyed. It almost hurts a bit (but in the good sense)

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3648 - I really love Vex's thought process in this one. It's a good piece of character development as Vex's longform usually are. I really really love the way it echoes past pieces as well as the underlying theme of transformation via metal metaphors and similes to gold and silver. It's giving alchemy vibes. An absolute delight, and Vex continues to defy expectations and evolve.

There's been a lot of writing to appreciate these last few weeks and I'm really shit at putting my thoughts and feelings into words so anything I can say will likely not do any of these justice anyway. Literally every post that's been made for this competition has been a solid, exciting read for me. Cia, you already know how I felt about yours and your writing as a whole, how utterly floored I am anytime I read anything you post, let alone the latest addition. Ranch, I couldn't gush enough about Aziza and her spiral, and how much i love reading your work. Lyssa, HE'S JUST A BABY. Vex is so fun to read and learn about, honestly. Nikki, your writing never fails to impress tbh, it's always such a trip (a good trip) reading what you put out there.
Keo, I fucking LOVE Fera, she's so cute. Jay, it's really nice to see you post a long form! Good work dude! And Ben! You too, I hope all three of you feel inclined to post more, I'd love to read it.

I am echoing now, so I will just say that being able to read everyone's content contributions to the event has been an absolute treat. I will be excited to follow up on these stories as they continue for your characters in whatever way that comes next. I feel like I have a wider picture of the city as a whole from this even if we're not supposed to take the pub set ups as canon (I feel like some of them should be!). Thanks to everyone who contributes their piece of city lore in this event and all the time! <3

Unrelated to the event, I also loved seeing 'The Spectrum of Roleplay' that Grin put up. Even things that I already know, mapped out like that, it's nice to get the inspiration flowing to try things a new way. I know this is for RP appreciation, but too bad

Thanks! Actually thought of joining the recent competition, but time was already up. Really enjoyed reading all of the submissions, though. Each addition felt like an urban expedition. (I'd read an RBC travel guide or blog, etc.)
