Agreement with everyone else, please take all the time you need, especially after a stressful move! Moving sucks.
And I'd love to participate in another writing challenge. This really was a wonderful outlet to stretch out the long-lost writing muscles I used to be able to easily access. And reading the entries as they came in was nothing short of wonderful!

I'm glad you're getting settled in and taking the time you need to organize your thoughts and feelings, Kris! You deserve that. I really appreciate the initial effort (and continued effort) you've put into this competition. As someone who has run writing competitions in the past on other forums, I know how much it is, and I made sure that I had a small group of two other people with me so we could judge the writing and make notes together. Doing this as an individual is admirable and a lot of work. All you've done and continue to do is appreciated. Please take your time, there is no rush to anything. It takes time to read writing, especially when a lot of us were pushing on that 2000-word count.
I had an amazing time participating in this and figuring out a little story to accompany the prompt. I can see many opportunities for me to participate in the future with my tool belt of characters.
Thank you again!
Peace & Love, you goober (loving)
