Also, these have happened in the last 4 years. A few have even been promoted here. You just happen to be back at a time when one is happening on the AB. But Nikki hosts writing events all the time on their servers, I have done a few on mine, loads of people have them on their different discord servers. You just need to know how to navigate the modern community to find what you are looking for.

It's the incel caucasity of the audacity that gets me.

First of all, let me make this exceedingly clear: Kris didn't make this for you specifically. They made it for the community. The only reason you may be barred from entry is because you're both rude as hell and incapable of following a simple set of rules, which surprises absolutely nobody who has had the monumental displeasure of meeting your acquaintance. Cull your protagonist complex.

If your entry is still being considered it's because Kris has more patience than you deserve. Yes, you should be grateful. No, nobody owes you absolutely anything. If you haven't been raised to thank people when they have the basic courtesy to include you in their projects and you have an issue elucidating manners from people lording things over you—that says more about you than it says about them.

Second of all, as Beth has already pointed out, there has been several writing contests promoted both within the AB and in several Discord servers. Hell, The Ritz has usually about one or two writing prompts and contests a month. I know Becca/drew has posted prompts at her server. I've seen prompts all over, and your absence of involvement or, quite frankly, your laissez faire attitude toward good player relations is, as everything that has transpired thus far, a you problem.

Nobody called you. Nobody's itching for your writing or your presence. If what you want is to stay, I suggest you take a class on normal human behaviour and start acting accordingly or be met with the animosity you've earned.
