And then I went and made things because I wanted to have a shot at PS again. Not sure what like better, 1 or 2.

I really like the colors in the first one, but I like the text in the second one. Both are pretty, though.

love the first. i think with the second, it's just because it looks not quite cut out correctly, and then something about it isn't making it properly blend to the background. i'm not banner maker, but maybe it's the coloration of it. the rest of the banner is totally fabulous, though, and honestly think it'd look best just sans the arm completely.

It's definitely because it wasn't cut out and blended properly. This is the original image, so I did my best trying to differentiate between skin and background - but my eyes...

@Meg - the first one with the doll thing is both beautiful and the stuff of my nightmares For the hand on the second, maybe try fudging it with the background looking more similar to the OG image on that side? Either that, or burn some more shadows on it and cut the finger into more of a narrow, fingery shape? I feel you if you're fed up, though; hands are the worst.

I love these as a pair.

The second one, to sort of echo what has been said, the model looks a little too cut out. Like, if you look around her birdie hand, it looks too crisp. Maybe going over the edges with a low blur tool would help smooth that out? Otherwise you're amazing, they are amazing. Stop being amazing.

Thanks for the feedback and tips, guys. I've tried blur and burn, but the more I do that, the more out of place it looks.
