I actually think it looks good? Some banners just don't need text!

But if you want text, like a name, I would make it really small (plain text, very straight lettering, maybe a narrow font?) to the left of his head right about where the wolf's cheek would be. Or, to the right of him, right where the jaw starts to descend.

The balance of the image is actually really well done, the colour scheme is ghostly but eye catching, it is really well done as a whole. If you did care to add to text, I was thinking more something vertical rather than horizontal. Something almost faded in nature.

I actually love the vertical and how it's shrouded in the misty bits! I'm not typically a vertical text person nor do I like overly flashy. Small and simple is usually my go to any more (or not at all), but fabulous work and good job on figuring out how you liked it!

Sometimes all it takes is a bit of collective brain power or throwing things out there for a possibility.
