Ab Antiquo

Welcome to Ab Antiquo, a forum dedicated to the grid-based roleplay (RP) game Vampires! The Dark Alleyway. If you've somehow managed to stumble here from the deep dark depths of the internet, please also sign up there.

This board is divided into in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) sections. An active account in V!TDA is not required to participate in roleplay sections as a human but is required to participate in many IC sections of the forum.


In roleplay terms, Ab Antiquo is an internet cafe/newsroom located in a strip mall at Duck and 51st; the cafe hosts the Ab Antiquo message board system. Inside, there is ample seating and free WiFi. Your character can physically visit Ab Antiquo, and messages posted under the 'City News' section are either messages posted online or - if you so choose - stuck to a noticeboard within the cafe.

The forum itself is broken down into 6 broad areas:

Ab Antiquo - Gateway

• Information & Etiquette (OOC) : Introduction area for players containing the OOC introductions board and all the information you need to know about this forum.
• Welcome to Ravenblack (IC) : Information to which your character would have access; these are books within the Ab Antiquo cafe.

City News [IC]

• This is the IC message board part of the forum; anything posted here is either posted online or is physically posted on the wall of the Ab Antiquo cafe.

Roleplay [OOC]

• This section is for roleplay posts, broken down into different locations. Feel free to participate in any threads marked as OPEN; if the thread doesn't have a tag, please contact the OP before posting.

Writing Center [OOC]

• This section is for out of character collaboration regarding roleplay posts, informational resources, etc.

OOC

• Obviously out of character, this section is for all other out of character interactions you may want to have.

Archive [IC/OOC]

• Anything that is no longer used, but kept for reference.
