After a hiatus that is considerable in human terms (10 years) but a mere blink of the eye to us immortals, this city's GREATEST EVER NEWSPAPER, the Ravenblack Grimoire is back in business. It reopened it's doors today offering an eclectic mix of archives from the dawn of time and ... hmmm actually it's just the archives from the dawn of time.

Which is why we're trying to recruit a new Editor. If you think you have the balls to stuff unpalatable yet current opinions down the throats of the great and good of the city email us at editor@ravenblack-grimoire.biz. Or post here and we can have it out in public.

So just in case you missed that link, here it is REALLY BIG so you old, blind people can read it, you who might actually remember the last time the Grimoire posted anything FRESH.

Me being the editor of any newspaper would be the death of that newspaper. I did deeply consider throwing my hat in the ring but I think the injection of a new perspective (or the reintroduction of an old one, I suppose) into the city is too valuable to throw away because I am not popular enough to draw a crowd to it. In fact, any newspaper with me at the helm would be seen as diseased in some way and actively avoided.


If no one comes forward, though, and the Grimoire's future is threatened, I will gladly be the Editor, as a last resort.

It's good to see this re-opened.

Good luck getting anyone to actually do anything around here.

Been a hell of a read. Damn.

It was good to read through some of this. Made me a little to remember when the city was thriving instead of holding on for dear life.

The staff here have been on hiatus for a while so have no idea how bad it's got, but when we started the Grimoire people were saying the same thing ... "it's not the same without Capadocius taking over the whole damned city" ... "things were better when EvilBill was trying to kill well basically everyone and succeeding". These events were all before the time of the Ravenblack Grimoire. Also, who could forget ophelia and Lucius and the birth of the Ferrymen?

Maybe it always looks better in the past? To our eyes the city looks pretty exactly the same to how it was before our little sabbatical
