Closure of the Ferrymen

Citizens of Ravenblack,
It is with heavy hearts—both heavy with grief for what has been lost and full of hope for what is to come—that we announce the closure of the Ferrymen. Following a period of deep reflection and grand majority agreement, we have chosen to close this chapter in our—and the city's—history.
The Ferrymen’s journey began over two decades ago with a mission: to seek out the hidden truths of the city, map the streets, and be a guiding light through dark times. Along the way, we learned to be warriors and defend ourselves and our ideals fiercely. Our legacy is built on the strength, bravery, and loyalty of those who stood with us. Through triumphs and tribulations, we remained steadfast, committed to loyalty, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge as the city changed around us.
But as the city evolves, so do its needs, and the city and its needs have evolved, now, beyond us. It has outgrown us. And it would be a disservice to this illustrious clan's old bones to try to keep her going well beyond her time. To those who walked this path with us, your contributions were invaluable, and your stories will remain woven into the fabric of this city. The Ferrymen's name will endure through the annals of our collective history.
We extend our gratitude to all those who supported, challenged, and journeyed with us - the good and the bad. Though we close our doors, the spirit of the Ferrymen will echo in the hearts of those who carry our legacy forward. We hope that others will take up the mantle, rise to the challenge, and see that one door closing may open another way forward, one that continues shaping the future with the wisdom of the past.
