A converted Hausmann-style apartment building in the middle of a bustling commercial district, six stories high with a rooftop garden, carriage entrances, and a courtyard.

Through a hallway of mirrors is The Ritz mezzanine, a lounge bar and club with Prohibition-style interiors. Above the door is a sign visible only to the keen vampiric eye:

• Be discreet, clean up after yourself, dumpsters at the back, and don't be an idiot.

The way upstairs to the third floor and above has been blocked off by a free-standing sign announcing,

Soon! We're working tirelessly to have Club Ukiyo officially certified with the city and for our venue to see similar success as The Ritz. A future article and when the time comes, only one thing will matter: prepare the dipping sauce.
