Named people who were not present should have been there to, in fact, give an opinion on the matter at the time. 'Your wife' included. Gallagher included.

In regards to Sheyrena, I don't think Gaz feels that she has the authority to de-name her. She can, however, call her a traitor. Which she is.

TL;DR: I don't think your "facts" are completely accurate, and you claiming that "once you've earned the name D'Dary, you're in, and your family always has your back" and then stripping people of the name and calling them traitors, because they stripped people of the name and called them traitors, six years after the fact, is not a good look.

1. They're not family. Dahlia and the rest of those chickenshit parasites made sure of that.

I am Liander, and I am a traitor to the House of D'dary.

Some years ago, I attempted to throw a coup against my sire and her partner; ones Drella and Andre D'dary. I believed them to be incompetent, complacent. I saw in them the stagnation Tifereth D'dary had warned us of for so long. They were content to stockpile coin and blood, quietly accumulating power to fuel their own ambitions - they had in essence, become the very beast we had been sworn to destroy.

They allowed a named member of our house, Ezra de Draak D'dary, to suffer abuse unretaliated against for fear of war. For fear of war. A D'dary, afraid to bleed. Woe to your roots.

They further conspired to find ways to cut off the limb that de Draak had become, seeing our fellow Vex de Draak D'dary as a threat to their way of life. I know this, because I participated in these conversations. I too plotted to remove a man because my ego clashed with his and I could not stand to see him succeed where we were failing.

In my attempt at a coup, I reached out to several members of House D'dary. Ezra and Vex were unaware of this. Ezra simply sought protection; she was scared, cornered, and her family did not have her back. I manipulated her fear for my own ends. I told her war would bring us back together, but in truth I thought I could find for us in a new war new leaders for the House of D'dary.

Vex had no inclinations towards any of these plots or schemes. Indeed, when approached by Ezra and I he shut us both down in kind and encouraged us to take our complaints to them.

I am a traitor to the House of D'dary, but not for the attempt at a coup. I am a traitor because I turned my back on Vex. I am a traitor because I manipulated Ezra. They both deserved better from me and, indeed, from all of House D'dary.

Their names were not struck because they were traitors. Their names were struck because Andre and Drella D'dary saw de Draak as a threat. From the moment Tifereth was in the grave, her body barely covered in dirt, they plotted ways to remove de Draak. This last event was a scapegoat, and nothing more.

If I am brave enough to one day post these words myself, know that my only regret is not bleeding Andre and Drella for their crimes myself and for abandoning Ezra and Vex when they needed me most. If I am not - well. I suppose I'll be called a coward, but I'll be dead and I don't give a shit.

Let’s take several steps back here and speak a little bit about the introduction of de Draak alongside D’dary. While not being D’dary in name at the time for any of us, we were said to be allies. And how did you treat your allies from the start?

Let me answer that one for you: pitifully. You ignored us, iced us out, while claiming to be willing to bleed for us just as we did for you. Just like your supposed ideas about blood, and about family, about lineage. From day 1 you sold out your lineage’s design for your comfort which is something that you should take accountability for. Something you should absolutely bleed for.

During this war where was I? I was a Childe of Daly, a wife to Orion. You cannot lie to me about what happened because I was there. And unlike you, Dahlia? I remember more.

I remember being told that Liander, Vexian, and Ezra would lose their names. For manipulations, for gathering hitters, for various of things that could have and should have been handled internally without the cost of being ousted by their family. By the same blood that named them, housed them, and should have protected them. Should have led them from the begining.

I remember being told that this was because Andrella was done with this war. They were done with Ezra, with Liander, with Vex. They sold them out. You sold them out. With a unanimous decision with those present or not, that is what you did. You sold them out.

No, no. This may actually be true! You're right, my recollection is fuzzy—but you were, notably, not dead by the time the original letter was addressed to the people who were shut out of the lineage. So either you were named before, or they allowed someone without the name to vote on named D'dary matters instead of, you know, actually named members.
