Let’s face it though. Some folks are way more..incendiary than others. These are the kinds of vampires (I think) this is being set up to protect the newly turned from until they’re ready for the often volatile responses one can expect to be met with.

I applaud the revival of this approach. It worked back in the day and it’s only when clans stopped that we ended up with -Ren- clones running around writing cheques their arses can’t cash, getting stomped, and going to sleep forever or leaving the city outright.

I think they have every right to accept or deny whoever the fuck they want, TBH, but... "protecting new vampires from incendiary people" is kind of a reach. Everyone is incendiary. Seyda is, for better or worse, one of the most incendiary folks in the history of this city, and is helping run this! It's fine if it's set up for "People who I can trust to do XYZ because I believe it will be helpful for fledges," but claiming it's to keep fledges away from anyone who causes a ruckus -- by you, Seyda/pea haven't made this claim -- seems real far-fetched to me.

ETA: That said, seems like a cool idea if not a particularly new one, and I truly help it brings more folks into the city -- and keeps them here.
