Night watch Auction: To bid or not to bid?

Good evening denizens of RavenBlack! It’s your favorite Crusnik here, watching the shindigs and bringing them in for the public forum! While I might have started prompting on interviews with the who’s who’s and who’s isn’t, please don’t think me a one trick pony. As the phrase goes, see something, say something, aye?


Here in the final hours of the NoghtWatch Auction we’ve seen some massive movements. The first couple of days we were all impressed with the amount of coin that got thrown down in seemingly no time at all. But on the flip side, I’ve yet to see a current discourse on the past few hour’s happenings, so let me break it down.


Early in the hours of the final day, Fenrir removed his bid from his partner of 1 MILLION coin.

Was this a bluff or feint to drive the price of his betrothed? As a fellow auction goer I more than respect the idea of driving up the price of people I care for, but in the worst case scenario, I’ll have the coin to back up my bids. Takesies Backsies be damned.



Further more, out of the seven members of the Nightwatch participating in the auction, we’ve now seen three of them drop from the podium in the last few hours. Coldy, Valon and James have all decided to forego the things they advertised. Personal affairs? Too many things on the docket? Ill intent bidders that they wanted to avoid? No one yet knows.


So here I am. Having been through several versions and resurrections of the Auctions myself, watching the NightWatch’s performance falter at the final hour. So. Will any of our bids be recognized? Will the event itself stand? Is this something they can fix if they want to attempt these again sometime later?

We respect the affairs and personal time of every citizen. Unfortunately, sometimes personal matters arise resulting in having to withdraw from an event. We would never begin to judge those who do, as their time as volunteers to our cause was never a contract or obligation.
