BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER

THE MISSING PIECE
After embracing a true death, Reyna was subjected to the trial of The Weighing of the Heart of the Soul in the Hall of Two Truths. She failed.

When Liander resurrects her in a new form, she is but part of a whole; the ninth aspect of her soul had been devoured by Ammit, leaving her bereft of the burden of morality.

Jackal & 14th - Underground residence, the entrance hidden by a mausoleum in a graveyard.

An unassuming graveyard takes up the plot at the intersection, a rusted wrought-iron fence doing little to keep interlopers out or the unkempt weeds in. The headstones are untended and crumbling, choked by nature reclaiming its due. The pervasive stench of death and ash lingers throughout.

In the center sits a mausoleum painstakingly constructed from nummulitic limestone and black granite, sealed with lime mortar, too new to have been touched by the decay of its surroundings. The stone is bereft of name or date, a silent memorial to nothing.

The heavy, solid bronze door bears no lock and the basalt stone creating the steps continues on into the empty space beyond. A set of cursive Egyptian hieroglyphs painstakingly etched into the far wall and inlaid with rose gold is the only clue to its purpose.

The interior has been burned beyond recognition.
