About The Writer
Greetings! I've been a member of this community since late 2007. I've taken some sabbaticals as needed, but am once again here to write and enjoy the game. You may know me from previous characters I've written such as Liander, Juliette, or Luka. The most frequent question I've been asked since returning is if those characters will also return. While I will never speak definitively, the answer is probably not. Those characters required vast emotional investment I no longer have the energy for. They may appear in cameos or one-offs, but I am largely no longer interested in those stories and have moved on.
As my new "main", Everly represents a shift in how I am approaching this game and my writing. She is enthusiastic and happy to engage, however will be largely uninterested in seeking out conflicts. Put simply, I just want to enjoy the mechanics of the game and simplicity of the writing. I am more than happy to plot IC conflict on an OOC level, but will not otherwise be seeking out active hostilities while IC.
I'm looking for potential writing and gaming partners who understand this game will always be a low priority for me. Previously, I've engaged too hard in the game and sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours into it. Upon my return, I am looking to lessen that load. I will be active sporadically as noted above. You can reasonably expect one "thread post" per week and any number of smaller interactions on Discord that may be an hour or two long at a time.
My personal hobbies include the obvious trifecta of reading, writing, and video games. I particularly enjoy action and fantasy novels, writing intense character introspection, and playing "brain off" games such as 7 Days to Die, Fallout, and occasionally League of Legends.
