Hahaha anyone that sacrifices their family deserves to rot and burn. You protect your own even if it costs you, your life. You go out kicking and screaming and taking out as many as you can, not hide and pink panty up***. Little bitch.

So I awoken from my slumber this morning to find that my youngest got attacked from certain "righteous" people in this city who believe that attacking younglings who aren't powered up in order to make an example is acceptable. What's the matter, did the pink scare you off? So you have to punish those who have nothing to do with you just because of their association, does it make you feel big and important?

Then I find that others of my Linage are being hit by the same "righteous" people.

I would like to say this behaviour is beneath you, but honestly I know better ... just so disappointing, that the only way you can deal with someone disagreeing with you or stating an opinion that differs from yours is to lash out.

The level of maturity I'm see from so called immortal creatures is very amusing, good luck in your endeavours and it is my honest hope that one day you will grow.

On one hand I sympathize. Havin ya youngsters killed for nothing they did, it's a hard fucking spot for a sire.

On the other hand. I feel like ya clearly needed a reality check. When I was first brought into this city under Malk, the first fucking thing he taught me was that if ya talked shit, ya got smacked. No ifs ands or buts. No matter how polite worded the smack talk was.

The second was that there was no running and hiding. And sure nuff the first battle he was in. I was a youngster but got zeroed.

But at least I knew it was coming. And it dissapoints me that instead of dying for those kids ya threw on the cloak of pansy***. They deserve better.

I hope they rise stronger and I hope they find a sire who won't leave them behind.

It has always been standard practice in this city that when someone hides behind a Battlecloak or Neutrality, their loved ones become targets. This is not new, this is oldschool.

Just quoting this for the plain facts stated. Battlecloak, neutrality, hiding in shadows. There's a plethora of reasons why someone's lineage would be attacked, and they ALL lead back to the head of that lineage.

The oldest mention of battle cloaks that I can find is by Madeye, circa 2005-2006. The way I understand it, and I'm sure some Elders will correct me if I am mistaken (in which case, thank you for the free education; I am not all-knowing, although I'm certainly trying! ) it was meant to be an announcement of a vampire's personal choice and credo.

I rest. I sleep, perchance to dream.

It was meant to signify a certain honour code - one that I do not personally ascribe to, but as long as you believe in something, RavenBlack, you know I'm a happy camper.

So it pains me, it pains me, when cowards use the time-honoured rituals and traditions of our beautiful, monstrous Mecca to not only escape consequences but also abandon their kin.

Blue is usually a beautiful colour, and those of you who wear it to show us your beliefs and your creeds, I salute you. But for some people - you know who you are - blue is the colour of cowardice and treason.

Just curious, how do these kiddos that are being burned on behalf of their sire feel about the fact that this is happening? Do you feel like your sire is abandoning you? Do you feel like he's at fault for your burning because of his actions? Do you feel like the people burning you because of something you didn't do and don't have any control over are at fault? Do you consider this the natural order of things (the fact that you are being hit because your sire is, according to these people, awful)?

Don't know how many of you read Ab, but would love to hear about this from your perspective, if you're willing to share.


Tend to agree with Narcisssa's point that someone who uses their childe as a "meat shield" probably doesn't deserve said childe. But if this is some sort of agreement or understanding between childe and sire, you were fully aware of this when you signed up, or for whatever reason you are okay with this behavior from your sire, would be interesting to hear about it, if, again, you're willing to share.
